Our Hangar

This old aircraft hangar was moved by Jack Monroo from Brisbane to Uralla after the war in the early 1950's. For many years Mr and Mrs Monroo traded as Monroo Brothers; the "largest Holden and Chevrolet dealership out of Sydney". Since then this unique building has served as a garage, NRMA depot, tyre shop and freight company. Since December 2018 this historic building has undergone a magical transformation and has become home to more than 30 small individually owned enterprises under the one huge roof, known as Little Birdy.

We are offering you a unique shopping experience with a combination of antiques & collectables, high quality handmade items and the best of our New England local products.

Live Music on our Stage

We have started hosting live music performances in our multipurpose area on our funky stage. We can seat around 50-80 people and create a 'living room' feel or create a dance space for people to move to the beat.
